Sowing Our Grandmothers’ Mythic Garden

KinMakers Return for Women in Philanthropy

Connect body, wisdom and wealth with the web of life.

A small group of women, a warm kitchen, a cozy library, time for tea…

Perhaps a stortelling of the land and her being. Perhaps a garden. Or a crackling fire.

We are sensing something awakening. A seed planted by our grandmother’s greatest grandmother, something just germinating now. There is an emerging power we have kept hidden, and ways we know. Important messages for our time are being revealed.

Impact Philanthropy Advisor, Suzanne Bowles, and KinKitchen Magi, Kyra Kristof, are prepared to carry you through a multi-day, curated art experience of your own making,

What’s in store?

Our lineages have been shaped by Western cultures and institutions, the memory of our collective ways is not straightforward.

We share practices to rekindle a culture of relationship, reciprocity and gift—playful explorations of the world as it might be.

Drop with us into a slow, embodied exploration of ancestral memory, the living Earth, feminine wisdom, and the transformative possibilities of wealth in relationship.

Wealth as a Life-Giving Force

At KinMakers we set the building blocks for Living Wealth Plans, navigating financial resources, relationships, time, attention, and influence into deeper alignment with the flourishing of life.

These are not conventional philanthropic strategies. They are living commitments shaped by what we have remembered and what we are becoming.

Together, we ask:

  • What patterns of power are we ready to interrupt?

  • What ancestral gifts are asking to be restored?

  • What would it mean to move wealth in ways that deepen relationship rather than dependency?

  • How might feminine wisdom, care, and eros become forces for transformation?

  • What would we choose if we understood ourselves as ancestors of the future?

What Will Emerge from Our KinMakers Collective?

We cannot know in advance.

Perhaps new friendships and enduring circles of mutual care.

Perhaps renewed relationships with land, food, family, and ancestral traditions.

Perhaps new forms of giving, investing, sharing, and stewarding resources.

Perhaps a collective mythology that helps us navigate these uncertain times with greater imagination and courage.

Perhaps something none of us could have imagined alone.

We begin without needing to know the outcome, trusting that what is tended with love, curiosity, and care has its own capacity to grow.

The seeds are already within us.

They have traveled through generations to arrive in this moment.

The question is not whether we have inherited the wisdom to make another world possible.

The question is what we will cultivate together.

“The measure of our compassion lies not in our service of those on the margins, but in our willingness to see ourselves in kinship. And so… movement towards awe, and giant steps away from judgment.”
